Anyone have a salt dough ornament recipe that allows the ornaments to be used out doors?

My twins club is decorating an outdoor tree in our community to benefit the local food pantry.We are thinking of decorating our tree w/ double handprints using homemade salt dough.Any suggestions are welcome!
