Signs that your dog does not think you are the pack leader.?

What signs to look out for in a dog, that show he does not see you as a pack leader. and most importantly how to reclaim the alpha position. Exercises,equipment, etc. My GSD isnt aggressive to family but when strangers and dogs come along its a different story.
