Do i quit my free Literacy & Numeracy course that i do on a Thursday, and find a full time job...Need advice?

I have been doing this free Numeracy & Literacy Level 2 course on a Thursday, which means i cannot get a job that requires me to work on a Thursday, which in turn makes it harder for me to find work, unless i get a part time job. But part time jobs are really hard to come by, and my family are getting on my back about me making myself unavailable for full time work because of my course. I really need to finish this course because i need the Numeracy & Literacy to be able to enter into University next year, but my family say i should quit the course and find a full time job. But if i do that, then i cannot do my course and will not get my Lit & Numeracy which i need to get into University. It's really frustrating because i need work & money, but i also really want to finish this course otherwise i'll have to pay next time i do it, and i won't be able to possibly go to University next year. Please, i need some serious advice? My family don't understand about education because they never went to University, and because i have dyslexia makes me want to be successful even more.
