If you gargle mouth wash and the police come immediatly after you gargle could you blow a BAC of .024?

i am asking because i crashed my car and then walked home and nobody was at my house so i brushed my teeth and gargled mouth wash and I was going to go to bed when the police knoked on my door and forced me to take a breathalizer because they thought i crashed because i was drunk but i did not have anything to drink that night
