Does God really want us to worship Him as Jesus Christ?
The reason I pointed this out is that if God wanted people to worship him as Jesus, He would not have asked to be known as Jehovah but as Jesus in the first place. Even though practically all Christians equates Jesus to God, the name Jesus did not come into existence until Jesus Christ was born in 2 BC. Giving the Trinity the benefit of the doubt, refering God as God, Yahweh, Jehovah God are still far more reverent compared to Jesus as a name to address God. Jesus was merely a name God used as his human form while He was on Earth. Jesus was the name of God as the ultimate sacrificial lamb for the atonement of people's sins, and last but not least Jesus is actually firmly established as the Son of God in the New Testament. However, Jesus has the authority to forgive sins since He is the personification of God Himself. It is pretty interesting to note that I have never heard a preacher once said Jesus created the world in seven days. Jesus as God's human form couldn't have created the world and certainly does not have the power to do so! Neither have I heard any preacher taught that Jesus laid down the Ten Commandments which was ped down to Moses to guide his people. If 'Jesus' as God instructed people to keep all his Commandments. Why did Jesus (God) broke the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-2) Himself, and effectively broke one of the Commandments he Himself instructed His people to keep?! My point is even is Jesus is God Himself, there is a chance He does not want us to worship Him as Jesus!
